Electric Heart

Air moves swiftly through relaxed hair

Tension leaves and a smile creates creases

In the corners of an open mouth

Eyes once hollowed out by the gnawing

Grasp of loneliness now shine with hope

As though they were eager to start again

To love once more

To believe in something

To dream without restraint

An ear that awaits… a gentle whisper has been satisfied

Deep, sweet baritone

Tickles

A

Sensation

That slept

Dormant

A heart that has slumbered for what feels like an eternity

Has begun to beat again

It feels like electricity

Pulsating through ice cold veins

Love always, Esha <3
