About Us

Ayesha Montgomery also known as Esha is a poet, author and blogger with an outgoing residing in the Midwest. She uses poetry and comical story telling as a medium to spread messages of hope, love, faith, equity and resilience in an ever-changing world. She loves sharing her point of view with readers and encourages others to dance to the beat of their own drum.

Ayesha is the creator and sole contributor to the blog 300triedbywater.com. Since 2018, she has published Past Chains, Perseverance of the Human Spirit, Love is My Shelter and Misty Dreams Poetry Zine. Her book, Bright Side of the Pale Moon was accepted into the Indie Illinois Author collection for poetry via BiblioBoard.

She has been featured in spoken word events in Illinois and Wisconsin. In 2023, Ayesha facilitated a poetry program at Racine Library called Thoughtful Words Poetry Workshop.
Currently, she is hosting a poetry program at Racine Youthful Offender Correctional Facility called Hopeful Words Poetry Workshop.
