For those of you that didn’t know Covid-19 has triggered reach out season. If you have any people in your life that you don’t see eye-to-eye with reach out to them. Let them know you still care; make an effort this year because tomorrow is not promised and it never was. All of the drama revolving around this pandemic has reminded me of how little time I have. So I have decided to spend it differently.
The last few months have been difficult to say the least, but they made me into a better person. Now… if I miss people I don’t hesitate to tell them; because I want them to know that their on my mind. Many of the messages I ignored and doors I closed were just a result of my inability to return the love and kindness to those who gave it willingly. Maybe I can never make up for the past and my cold demeanor but it is my hope that old, new and stronger connections will be built as a result of my efforts.
If you give it a chance this change of pace could be the answer you’re looking for too. I hear the news calling self isolation and personal protective equipment the new normal. It is possible to acknowledge the new set of circumstances we face with a positive outlook. When you shift your frame of mind you allow opportunities for growth and self enrichment. But you have to do is take the fist step. It’s hard at first and you may feel all alone but all the tools you need to start over again are inside. Don’t give up and don’t give in! Keep pressing forward.
Much love, Esha
