The world is a big yet small place

Erased are the small desires

To hide your face

Cell phones record

Security videos are rarely erased

AI copies, voices and people

Human Hands are replaced

We stare at the struggling

Trying to get ahead in our own race

Till one day we realize…

The world is a big yet small place

One person’s injustice

Affects the next

Turn a blind eye

Looking for a way to avoid the hurt of another

We forget our sister

We ignore the plight of our brother

Rarely acknowledging that we need each other

We love someone while their fruitful

But when their pockets are dry

We look for another lover

Devoid of conscience

Emptiness fills a cold soul

Wearing perfume and acting bold

But underneath it all is nothing

To be found

A person that can’t be trusted

Standing on shaky ground

Character is rare

Virtue is profound

I’m convinced that some people are robots

Their skin is hard like metal

Their hearts don’t beat

Love is far from them

They are walking and talking

But their eyes are dead

No twinkle to be found

I wonder if they would pretend

If no one was around

Love always, Esha
