Take me to the water
Alongside the pier
Where I can see the city lights
No need to worry
No room to fight
Just the feel of ripples
Hitting the fingertips
Of my willing hand
The glow of the unknown
Dances off my skin
I am hopeful
My heart prays for new dreams again
The darkness goes on for miles
But my enthusiasm remains
This is a time for exploration
