I got so use to having you there

in my corner

by my side

supporting my dreams.

Weeping alongside me during pitfalls

Celebrating with me as I beat the likelihood of failure

I neglected your importance

I trampled on your need for RESPECT and Decency

Because I assumed you would always be there

Perhaps that egoistic and grotesque behavior is why you left?

Because nothing lasts forever

And time is the ultimate test

No one is going to stand beside you

When you don’t give them your best

I pales in comparison when it came to Us

I carries, the load of lonely

Because I ignored your love


I got so use to having you there

in my corner

by my side

supporting my dreams.
