A Squeeze

A Squeeze

Hold my hands in-between breaths

Give it a squeeze until I loose myself

The soft feel of your palms pulsate

With the thick… tick of time

Driftwood eyes wander over the corners of open lips

When lucid speech is hard to find

Transparent emotions bleed raw and appear blind

As black silhouettes are outlined by the sparkle of twilight

We move through interwoven thoughts

Sharing stolen kisses that love inspired

We bask in the same glow

That sets the afternoon sky on fire

Let the wind become our wings

So that our glee reaches higher

Like chocolate coated clouds over a sunrise

Distractions are swept away by words of forever

We melt together…

And plummet down to the rugged earth

The jagged rocks of reality stop our descent

But cascading currents carry us to felicity

And to think… it all began with a squeeze

Love always, Esha ❤
