Unreleased: Snow Globe

Snow Globe

We skate figure 8’s

Arm’s stretched out-wide to catch the draft

We live for the moment

There is thrill in our laugh

Wearing a coat too big to fit

Trekking through the slush

But it fails to penetrate insulated boots

Strong enough to crush acorns with

Mittens keep cozy fingers untouched

From winter’s sharp bite

Icicles hang on frozen branches

That once bore supple berries

For spring birds

Until frost arrived

And they left the north

We make snow angels

And allow our imaginations to fly

We build igloos

Captured in snow globes

To never forget the memories

Covered in the first winter’s snow

Love always, Esha <3
