Morning
awake at 5…
just to see the light overwhelm the shadows
of a formerly darken room
to bare witness to the mocking bird’s song
grasshoppers that look like leaves click their hind legs
while gossiping about the day that lies ahead
snails crouch and slide to their designated safe place
to avoid the sun’s blistering rays
like the slimy auburn worms that slither
they thrive and live in the cool, crisp, damp shade
rocks provide shelter for intense days
bees gather round flower heads for pollen sake
they must feed and pollinate
their mystic buzz carries joy and love from the hive
see you in the morning
when the world comes alive
Love Always, Esha ❤
