low thoughts…

took her on a one way trip to bad vibes 

depreciation of good intentions 

turned out her insides 

just stomaching a cruel reality  

to stay alive 

youth is a given 

but time is not on her side 

as she selects parts of herself to compromise 

maybe a fake ass and contact enhanced eyes 

after all she gotta slay the Instagram way 

reality has no grip on social media 

her every day is a picture posted 

to hide the pain 

a thousand words doesn’t cover the frame 

it looks like she walks on sunshine 

but all she knows is rain 

sliding down a broken window pane
