Dark Corners

Photo by Plato Terentev on Pexels.com

Let light shine on the pale, unbroken darkness

That encompasses this place

The corners that are dim

Are painted in a thick cloak of blackness

That is eager to envelop all it touches

Let peace arise in the midst of obscurity

The brown centipedes that crawl on dilapidated walls

Every leg moving in the same direction as the one before it

Till change comes to break it’s progress

And sun rays touches the places that remain hidden

Love always, Ayesha
