I wrote this poem 6 years ago. But I feel like it speaks to my mindset now. I hope you like it.

Love, light and laughter come hither

Winter has passed begrudging

Paving the path for the wonders of life

To spring into action

Bliss rains, sunny skies and warm feelings

Are underway now

Letting go of the night

To give freedom to day

Pull midnight out of me
Five years overdue for sunrise
