Rocky road and a metal spoon led us here

We sit on the edge of kneeling seats 

Eating till the void of emptiness is filled 

A rough day is easily made better 

By this tasty delight 

It can be consumed in the day 

But it feels better at night 

It is mint chocolate chip in the spring 

But the vanilla ice cream goes better with walnut brownies 

When drizzled in warm caramel syrup

We like toppings galore 

Peanuts, sprinkles, M&M’s, crushed Oreo’s, marshmallows and more  

Adding up scoops just for the thrill 

Loading them till their sky high 

Whether waffle cone, plastic cup or bowl 

It makes no difference 

Either way the snicker doodle is divine 

Kind of like strawberry shortcake

Just a lick of it 

Stops time
