More precious than gold or silver 

Valuable like rain in the desert 

Glistening in the sun like shells wasted on shore 

But it breaks under the pressure of bitterness 

Eventually becoming fine sand 

That gives way to easy going feet 

Eager to walk on to brighter days 

And that is the beauty of forgiveness
