To Sow Shade

It looks bad. No visible progress made kind of bad. No goals for greatness achieved. By all accounts the situation looks quite dismal. But such is the nature of a seed. You sow it and hope for growth.

Along the way a storm comes to water it. Then as it spouts from fertile soil like a child coming into the world. The sun comes to shine on it. Carbon dioxide floats in the foggy breeze in search of change.

So it comes in hopes of never being the same. Someone will inhale the oxygen and be thankful for the breathe taken. Years later, the plant no one believed would grow became a thriving tree. Because you tended to it anyhow. On hot days, people find safety under it’s shade.

Love always, Esha <3
