Little Gestures

We dig for substance in head nods, faint smiles and subtle waves. Oh the things we’d say if our hearts were brave. To live a life full of hesitation due to the unknowns that make us afraid. Yet we try anyhow… Knowing that little gestures of acknowledgment is all we have for now.
