Togetherness

This poem is featured in my new book Bright Side of the Pale Moon which is now available on Amazon.

Togetherness

We are made for each other

Like peanut butter and jelly on buttered toast

Wind blowing through the sails of a wooden boat

A nonprofit with a mission predicated on hope

Two star crossed lovers that dare to elope

This may be a trilogy in the making

We are connected like a foot to pavement

We fall like the burning ash being knocked off a cigar

We got that comb to kitchen kind of attraction

Whenever you press heat to a greased mane

You get a reaction

Like opposing magnets attaching

Togetherness makes the impossible happen

Love always, Esha ❤
