Ocean Floor

it’s nearly impossible

to hear a pebble dropping

into an ocean of sound

the water doesn’t seperate

it gathers round

 

only a mighty blue whale

can make it tremble

creating thunder clapping movement

that generates fearsome ripples

but that’s only for a short time

 

magnificence and power aside,

even he respects the tide

he knows… how steep the deep can get

from living on the inside

 

it’s always sliding, shifting and expanding

realizing that there is more space to be found

an endless void

there is no bottom

to a floor with no ground

 

it’s hollowed out by intrigue

of the unknown

a location many lost souls have been to

but few call home

 

a place where lively people are unable to go

to the bare depth of pressure

that surpasses too low

to a land that beaming laternfish know
