In The Bubble

let me into your hemisphere

of intersecting realities set ablaze

by greenhouse gas emissions igniting with lighting rage 

so that i may explore, exhale, and explode

 

into a thousand tiny clusters, filled with delicate ambiance 

colliding and compounding into visceral feelings

in free flowing air, i am elevated…

above harsh hunger pains

and the sad, small, sultry violin

 

playing in the corners of my subdued mind

your bubble takes me to a place

where everything is fine

a place still affected by the troubles of mankind…

 

but in its own way exceeding the sublime

let me into your dense hemisphere

of intersecting realities set ablaze

where freedom is trapped in a rusty cage
